Main Arm

The Main Arm Valley rises from Mullumbimby township westward for about 16 kilometres. It follows the Brunswick River from the national parks of Upper Main Arm meandering through forested slopes down to Main Arm Village. From here you see the marvellous bluffs of Koonyum Range, the habitat areas of Blindmouth Valley and you can travel either N.E to the Pocket and Billinudgel or continue along the magnificent river flats with cane fields, dairying and cattle properties prevailing. There are interesting places like Palmwoods where banana growing prospers to this day. There’s Coopers Lane, with Multiple Occupancies, tropical fruit and elevated homes with views forever. There’s Upper Main Arm School, Main Arm School, Main Arm Pre-school, the NCCC School and 7 day Adventist School all located in the valley.
